Even though cafepilot was designed to make pre-paid billing as easy as possible, it is easy to adapt it for a post-paid billing environment. Simply print "large value" tickets that will be impossible to use at a sitting, for example $10,000 tickets. When customers come in to use your facility, they are given one of the tickets and they can then use any of the workstations. This is better than post-paid arrangements that limit a customer to a particular workstation. When the customer is done, cafepilot can easily be queried to see how much the customer has spent. If necessary, tickets can be limited to one use only by specifying that tickets should expire after 1 minute. This will ensure that, if the customer logs out anytime after one minute, login will be impossible with the same ticket.
