Running CafePilot on Linux saves you hundreds or thousands of Dollars on operating system license costs.
Ubuntu also gives you improved control and security, as well as a mordern OS desktop.

The CUCCI service DVD has the following default parameters (which can and should be changed):
  • Root password: dijitanix
  • Server admin password: dijitanix
  • Client admin password: dijitanix
  • Server IP address: 192.168.1.10
  • Server subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
  • Gateway address: 192.168.1.254
  • Installed applications: Firefox, Games, Wine
The Client CD/DVD auto logs in the unprivileged user and autostarts CafePilot client. The client system is also pre-configured to be as secure as possible to prevent customer tampering. The CUCCI service will provide 2 CD/DVD images (iso files), one for the server and one for the clients. Only one client CD is necessary irrespective of the number of workstations.
